About Dr. Kroll

Debra M. Kroll, M.D. maintains her own private practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side specializing in Oculoplastic Surgery. She is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Her areas of expertise are cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and orbit, as well as minimally invasive facial rejuvenation techniques.

Dr. Kroll treats patients at the world-renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, New York University Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospitals. She has been appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College and is actively involved in teaching programs for residents, fellows and medical students.

Dr. Kroll is originally from the Boston area and completed both her Residency in Ophthalmology and Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at the New England Eye Center/Tufts Medical Center. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine and performed her Internship at the Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the New York State Ophthalmological Society, New York County Medical Society, New England Oculoplastic Society and Women in Ophthalmology–New York Chapter. Dr. Kroll performed many oculoplastic and reconstructive surgical procedures with the Volunteer Health Program at the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) in Santiago, Dominican Republic, to help the local community. She has also volunteered for the Chernobyl Children’s Project to help those affected by the ongoing impact of the nuclear reactor disaster in the Ukraine in 1986.

She has published numerous articles in various medical journals and has presented at annual meetings of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
